A singer-songwriter who plays piano, guitar, and violin, Hilary Scott weaves lyrical and musical tapestries with an emotional edge. Listeners can be gratified with blues, folk, rock, pop, and classical influences in her music, and yet still find they are listening to something completely fresh and difficult to define. Comparisons offered when people speak of Hilary's sound range from Joan Baez to Billie Holiday. Hilary Scott has opened for artists such as Beth Orton, Jonatha Brooke, Little Feat, and Tanya Tucker. In 2004, Hilary began working with Nashville producer Matthew Wilder to help carry her songs into the radio realm. Over the past two years Hilary has continued to work with Wilder, recently signing a co-writing and publishing deal. Hilary has also had the opportunity to write with 'Nashville royalty' such as John Goodwin and Angela Kaset. Most recently, Hilary Scott has been working with legendary songwriter, Keith Colley. She wrote a new work entitled, "America's Song" and will be recording with Mr. Colley in LA in the near future.

The "Road To Hope", Hilary Scott's latest release, is a blending of Hilary's original songs and favorite covers, and is a fan favorite.
